I had a follow-up appointment yesterday for my thyroid cancer. I had an ultrasound and there is no sign of cancer regrowth! I also had some blood drawn and a flu shot. So far everything is looking good. When we get the blood results back we’ll be able to compare them against my first draw. *Fingers crossed* we’ll have good news there too!

High Five!!!
I love to hear good news. I was thinking about you when I wrote a few posts a week ago on parity in cancer awareness advertising. We are getting together a group to help bring awareness to other types of cancer that need some awareness and funding.
I also appreciate the way you write about the election. It is what it is and all I hope is that we can truly try to work together for some positive change on serious issues.
