I just stumbled across your blog while looking up Halverson elementary school. I too am “about 30″ and wondering if perhaps we would have known each other. Being an army brat has made it a little difficult to find younger classmates. I lived on Rhein Main AF base 1987-90 (3rd, 4th and 5th grade).
It was nice to read your entry- I still have my Candy Bombers sweat-shirt packed away in my parents basement somewhere.

I think we moved back to the states in 1989 but I was at Halverson for 2nd(Boatman), 3rd(Hobletzel), 4th(Taylor), 5th (Turner) and 6th (Peha) grade. I can’t believe I remember all their names. Weird. Did you know Mrs Radcliff who died? Her husband was being investigated some years ago for the murder of his 2nd wife and they actually went back to Germany and exhumed her body. It seemed creepy. I don’t know what the results were…

i used to attend Halverson.. i’m about 26.. so i probably didn’t know you.. but my sister is about 30.. maybe she did… i think we were there a couple years around the same time you were.
